Istria (Croatian, Slovene: Istra, Čakavian: Istrija, Jistra, ; Italian: Istria; Istriot: Eîstria; German: Istrien; Hungarian: Isztria), formerly Histria (Latin), is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea.
