Roxana ( or Roshanak, "luminous beauty"; Rokhsāna; Rox̌āna), sometimes Roxanne, Roxandra and Roxane, was a Bactrian princess and a wife of Alexander the Great. She was born earlier than the year 343 BC, though the precise date remains uncertain.
