Valladolid () is a historic spanish city and municipality in north-central Spain, situated at the confluence of the Pisuerga and Esgueva rivers, and located within three wine-making regions: Ribera del Duero, Rueda and Cigales. It is the capital of the province of Valladolid and the most important city of Castile and León. It has a population of 313.437 people, being the 13th municipality with more population of spain and the first of all spanish northwest. For another way, the metropolitan area has 23 municipalities, is the 20th of spain, with one population of 413.605 people (INE 2011).
