Cedar Point is a amusement park located on a Lake Erie peninsula in Sandusky, Ohio, United States. Opened in 1870, it is the second-oldest operating amusement park in the United States behind Lake Compounce. The park is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company and features a world-record 72 rides, including 15 roller coasters. Known as "America's Roller Coast", With 15 roller coasters, Cedar Point has the third-most roller coasters in the world. However, their 16th roller coaster will open in 2013, GateKeeper.
